On Thursday June 16th Het Nieuwe Instituut celebrates the kick-off of the Fellowship Programme 2016. The four selected fellows Andrea Bagnato, Simone Niquille, Noam Toran and Füsun Türetken will present their research proposals in the form of a conversation.
At the beginning of 2016 Het Nieuwe Instituut launched an open call for three research fellows. Designers and researchers from the fields of architecture, design and digital culture were invited to submit a proposal for research to be led in the period between June and December 2016. Due to the exceptional quality of the applications and the relevance of the subjects, the jury decided to extend the number of fellowships from three to four. The selected fellows are Andrea Bagnato with Terra Infecta, Simone Niquille with The Contents, Noam Toran with Black and White and Red All Over and Füsun Túretken with Alchemic Dialogue.
The kick-off of the Fellowship Programme 2016 will take place from 16:00 to 17:00 in the auditorium. After an introduction about the fellowship programme and the fellows by the R&D department, the four fellows will present their research proposals. The conversation continues afterwards in the café.
The Thursday Night programme for this evening starts with dinner in the café at 18:30, followed by the lecture at 20:00.
